Samverk is one of the largest trade unions in the Faroe Islands, aimed at uniting shop assistants, salespeople, office workers, technical staff, and other professional groups in comparable fields. Additionally, the union seeks to include apprentices in the same areas to promote shared interests.

The union was founded in 1940 and was active until 1945. It was re-established in 1973 and has since been a significant part of the Faroese labour market. There are over 1,400 members in the union, with about 75% being women. The youngest is 12 years old, while the oldest is well above the normal retirement age.
